NANOWII and LCD

Postby joe » 08 Apr 2013 14:42

Can a LCD be used with the Nonowii board? If possible where is it connected what is the logic voltage?
I notice several on E-Bay but all seem to be 5V is a level converter also needed?

Another non related question about the Frame does anyone use the base that needed to be cut out from the frame?

Thanks Joe near Chicago

While you can theoretically connect an LCD via I2C, I suspect that the compiled sketch would be too big to fit in the memory that's available on the NanoWii. The Flyduino Mega might be a more suitable platform for that.

Thanks,
It's to bad the LCD can't be used as I'm unable to to use any of my XP machines to talk to this board using Multiwii GUI.
But it does respond to the transmitter and possibly it may work anyway. I'm going to try a WIN7 and MAc to see if they work but it still won't help me as I only use WINXP. I'm sorry I ever got involved with this and it's apparent my skills aren't up to the task.

You can try the MultiWii GUI for Android via bluetooth. It has almost the same features as the desktop GUI stuff.

Problem Solved

Multiwii needs Windows Service Pack 3 it will load on SP2 but not run. I received a tip about this from the Multwii
list.

Thanks Joe
